Erin Kissane is a co-founder of The COVID Tracking Project, an open data organization launched out of The Atlantic. She was previously editorial lead at Knight-Mozilla OpenNews, editorial director at Happy Cog Studios, and editor of A List Apart and Contents magazines.

Erin is the author of The Elements of Content Strategy (A Book Apart, 2011), a brief handbook for everyone who needs to create and manage useful content for real people.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest and occasionally writes at Incisive.nu.
